Description
Captain Bob of the Sunbeam Fleet reports another good week of fishing. Half Day trips showed good action for the most part. There have been a light amount of keepers mixed in with a handful of bluefish throughout the days. On the slower tides, we’re been mixing it up with a little bottom fishing with some nice porgies and sea bass coming over the rails. Fluke fishing has been picking up with some anglers like Big Taug Tim seeing their limit of nice fluke up to 5 pounds. Our Sunset Stripers trip has been seeing good results with faster tides, showing bass up to 18 pounds this week,
What to bring:
- Camera, warm clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen
- Rubber sole shoes (no open-toed shoes)
- Food, snacks, soda, water (please no bananas)
- Cooler
- Alcohol is prohibited on Open Party Boat Trips.
- Beer (in moderation over the age of 21) may be brought on private charters. No glass bottles.
- Dramamine if prone to sea sickness (we recommend taking it the night before and an hour before boarding boat).
- Your sense of adventure

- Valid for Fishing with Fisch from the River 105.9 on September 3rd at Sunbeam Boat Charters. Includes a 4-hour fishing trip, all bait and tackle, and an event swag bag. All services, gas, bait and tackle are being donated in-kind by CCPBA for charity. Their generous donation does not include tip for the Captain or First Mate so we kindly ask that you please be courteous and remember to tip at least 10% to the staff. Thank you for your support and cooperation. There are no refunds for not catching fish, getting a sun burn, or getting motion sickness during the event.
