Description
Get ready for a day of inshore sport fishing in Long Island Sound. This CT fishing charter sails from Mystic Shipyard East in Mystic, Connecticut, located just a few miles from fabulous fishing grounds. Our goal is to create an enjoyable day on the water targeting striped bass, blue fish, fluke, sea bass, and porgy. Come here to catch fish! No salt water fishing license needed. We are happy to share the experience with novice and experienced fisherman, including women and children.
Captain Doug has been fishing the Sound for 21 years. He is licensed by the USCG and is fully insured. He looks forward to putting you on the fishing charter of a lifetime. His mate is there to help you throughout the day and will fillet your catch on the way back to the dock.
What to bring:
- non-marking soled shoes (no work boots)
- food and beverages
- cooler to take home your catch
- sunglasses/sunblock
- sea sickness medication should be taken night before and morning of if needed
- camera
- remember, no fishing license required!

- Valid for Fishing with Fisch from the River 105.9 on September 3rd at Blue Venture Boat Charters. Includes a 4-hour fishing trip, all bait and tackle, and an event swag bag. All services, gas, bait and tackle are being donated in-kind by CCPBA for charity. Their generous donation does not include tip for the Captain or First Mate so we kindly ask that you please be courteous and remember to tip at least 10% to the staff. Thank you for your support and cooperation. There are no refunds for not catching fish, getting a sun burn, or getting motion sickness during the event.
